BIG BOLD CHOICES (ADVANCED CLASS)

With Kirsten Rasmussen

A deep dive into risk taking, bold and confidant choices with award winning improviser and director Kirsten Rasmussen. This class will explore how to make every single part of your scene a committed ride of surprises for you, your scene partner and most importantly your audience. We will look at scene initiations, what patterns you have and where you can commit harder, faster and stronger. We will drill to find what the game of the scene is and how to play it in a way that heightens and surprises your audience. We will explore how committing 100 percent to your characters needs and wants can give a dying scene a lifeline. We will explore scene endings, how to energetically find that last moment that makes it clear to your troupe members, the tech, the audience,  that was the end.  And by the end of this class, you will feel more confidant to follow the joy, play and chaos  in every scene.
